The bill, passed by the Senate with a 68-30 vote, establishes strict stablecoin regulations, including 1:1 reserve collateral and robust anti-money laundering measures.

Trump emphasized the Act’s potential to attract investment and drive fintech innovation. Despite bipartisan support, the bill faces lingering friction over issuer reserve restrictions and licensing requirements.
